Please please please don’t tell me high-waisted is out!

I know you’ve seen it too, low-waisted this, low-waisted that. Why are we forgetting about the trousers that raised us too? Don’t get me wrong, low-waisted can be quite flattering (on the right body type *cough cough Yuna cough*) but why is every brand trying to recreate 00s JLo and Paris Hilton when I’ll just end up looking like an early 2000s Disney star on the red carpet (no shade, all I need is a feather boa).


Now that you’ve heard me cry, here are my favourite high-waisted bottoms that I own, and the closest I can find online at the moment, that will never go out of fashion:

Your new summer bff.

When I tell you I have worn these trousers more than I can count, I am not kidding. I think they're tired of being worn. The most versatile denim I own.

The shade of blue is just perfection, it goes with just pretty much anything!

The second most worn trousers in my wardrobe. Again, so versatile and the quality is amazing. Can be worn to dress up or down for any occasion, seriously.

When it comes to white pants, yes it's a bit risky (stains and all), but you definitely need these lowkey flared pair for a chic finish.

Won't lie, these are the most expensive trousers I own (I actually thrifted these!) but here they are online.


These pinstripe pants can easily turn any outfit from casual to glam.

And the last high-waisted item has to be these cream linen trousers. I bought mine from an independent boutique but here is the closest I could find to the pair I own.


Linen pants have to be the no.1 item in your wardrobe!!





Anyways, I don’t think I’ll ever stop wearing high-waisted trousers (because a waistband that touches my lower hips just feels weird, oop). Soooo, you’ll never see me wearing low-waisted (unless I magically wake up with a body like Yuna from Itzy).
